The re-powering extends the lifetime of the existing equipment.

The Diesel-electric locomotive, Class BB66000, retrofitting kit contains a new Diesel engine with all its auxiliaries, it adapts itself perfectly in the place of the old engine by retrieving the existing interfaces on the locomotive.

Its installation can be made without any difficulty in a very short time by a maintenance workshop.
