 The optimisation of investment goes with the refurbishing of the rolling stock or its main elements. 20 or 30 year-old Diesel engines have high maintenance costs, reduced availability rates, levels of pollution that have become unacceptable.

The re-powering extends the lifetime of the existing equipment.

The retrofitting kit contains a new Diesel engine with all its auxiliaries, it adapts itself perfectly in the place of the old engine by retrieving the existing interfaces on the DMU.

Its installation can be made without any difficulty in a very short time by a maintenance workshop.
