The concept of Modulary Maintenance aims at optimising the maintenance through a limited appeal to the rolling stock and through the use of a fleet of maintenance modules.The latters lead to an increased rapidity, efficiency and flexibility in work.

Whatever the shape of the track, the driver must be in a position to stop his wagon or his train at any time. The solution consists in treating regularly the track, through the cleaning of the track head and the use of a stable, sand-based fluid.

The cleaning of the rail head through very high pressure water jetting can completely remove the film of dead leaves and of any other material on the rail head and likely to bring about a loss of adhesion.
