 The concept of Modulary Maintenance aims at optimising the maintenance through a limited appeal to the rolling stock and through the use of a fleet of maintenance modules.The latters lead to an increased rapidity, efficiency and flexibility in work.

In spite of the use of Diesel engines, the quality of the surrounding air in tunnels must be preserved on the worksite where the staff is likely to operate.

The artificial ventilation in tunnels is carried out by this self-contained module, located near the worksite, it is fitted with a fan.
