The couple of prototypes of locomotives were delivered in July 2007.
In March 2010, SOCOFER will have delivered to the Freight branch of the SNCF, the sixtenth locomotive BB64700/800.
This modernization project in SOCOFER'S workshops covers re-motorization, modernization of the braking system and improvement of the comfort in the cabin (ergonomics and air-conditioning system)
A total of 19 couples of locomotives are being reworked and up-graded by SOCOFER.
